This is improv for real people.
Level One: Foundations — Improv Classes in Mobile, Alabama. $199, 6 weeks, Tuesdays 6-8pm, Innovation Portal, 358 St. Louis St, Mobile, AL 36602 (unless otherwise noted). The beginning. Learn the fundamentals of improv: listening, agreement, making offers, supporting your scene partner, and discovering the funny in the ordinary. No stage experience required. You do not have to be funny, outgoing, or an actor. 12 students max, 8 minimum to run. If a class does not reach 8, we will email you at least 7 days before and offer a transfer, credit, or full refund. Refund policy: full refund (minus card fees) or full credit up to 7 days before your class starts. Credit only from 7 days to 48 hours before. No refund after class starts, except if Bay Cities cancels your class.
Showcase: In the last week of class (week 6), students perform a showcase. Participation is optional.

No experience needed.
This class is for adults who are curious about improv, storytelling, personal confidence, or simply trying something new.
You will never be expected to arrive with jokes.
The class progresses through supportive group exercises.
